We finished work on the module Short News (MT_SNews). It is an external module structure presenting articles from any section / category information. The module automatically retrieves images of the articles (if any), also automatically creates a thumbnail of the last (if it is also a picture), which writes in thumbnail inside the "images". In the absence of the image automatically automatically compensates text . Go full W3C validation. As with previous modules have a universal style (suitable for the free templates) and an additional style for our templates. Entry is determined by the user number of characters taken from the intro article.
